Take a short walk through wonderful scenery to see the sunrise from Poon Hill. Then, trek down to the traditional village of Ghandruk, from which you can enjoy spectacular views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs. After that, return to Ghandruk and take a short and pleasant walk back to Pokhara, from where you will fly back to Kathmandu.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek – 6 Days Itinerary

01 DAY

Arrival in Kathmandu & Flight to Pokhara

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the airport for your scenic flight to Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurna region. In the evening, explore the beautiful Lakeside area or enjoy the view of Phewa Lake while preparing for the trek.

02 DAY

Drive to Birethanti & Trek to Ulleri

After having breakfast, we start our drive to Birethanti – the starting point of our trek followed by a nature trail walk along a beautiful stream called Bhurungdi khola to Ulleri, passing through stone staircases, enchanting forestland and local villages.

03 DAY

Trek to Ghorepani

Today we walk through beautiful thick rhododendron and oak forests with occasional wonderful views of the Annapurna range to picturesque Gurung village of Ghorepani.

04 DAY

Poon Hill Sunrise & Trek to TadapaniPoon Hill Sunrise & Trek to Tadapani

This morning we have an early start to trek to Poon Hill (3210 m) for breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. After enjoying a delicious breakfast in Ghorepani, we proceed with the trek through beautiful forest and ridges to reach Tadapani.

05 DAY

Trek to Ghandruk & Drive to Pokhara

Today, we trek down to beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk, passing through beautiful forest land with wonderful views of mountains and traditional houses made of stones. Later explore the village and then drive back to Pokhara for overnight stay at the hotel lakeside area.

06 DAY

Flight to Kathmandu & Departure

After breakfast, we take a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. In the meantime, arrange for transportation to the airport for your departure or an overnight stay in Kathmandu, depending on the time of your international flight.
